From Small Beginnings: The Story of Dipu\'s Goat Farm

Dipu Majhi's journey began with two goats, supported from Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal. When his goats fell ill, a quick consultation with VJTA Ram Saran Mahato and some careful treatment restored them to health. Inspired and determined, Dipu used the project's support to build a larger, more hygienic goat shed. This simple improvement sparked a remarkable transformation. In just six months, his herd doubled to four healthy goats. Dipu's dedication, combined with the project's timely assistance, has turned him into a respected farmer in his village. His increased income now covers household expenses, and he's focused on providing his children with a good education. "I'm working hard with my plan," Dipu shared, "and I'm motivated to achieve success." More than 400 poor families like Dipu has been supported goat for liveihood.
